I had a 1st Tattoo done 3 days ago and color is coming off onto clothing & sheets. Is this normal???

This is normal, don%26#039;t worry. Just try not to rest your tattoo against too many sheets and possibly wear baggy clothes for a few days, or loose clothing around the tattoo area. It%26#039;ll help keep the colour in your tattoo, and keep your materials clean :P

After a few days-1 week with getting the tattoo, this should stop anyway, so it won%26#039;t be happening for too long anyway.

yes it is...the tattoo artist puts more ink in at first because they know this will happen during the healing process and they put so much in that way it wont fade so soon. but try to not sleep on that part of your body too much because after my first tattoo (on my back between shoulder blades) i woke up and i was almost stuck to the bedsheets because i had fallen asleep on my back and when i got up, it kinda rubbed of the scab that was forming over it. take care

Yes. It really isn%26#039;t as much the color as the flakes of skin with ink all over them coming off. It will stop pretty soon.
Reply:yes its normal. its the skin that died when you got the needle stuck in you (scabbing). i know its odd but its just the way the whole thing goes and all honestly after a few more tattoos youll find out that its just a part of life.
Reply:Yes, that happens. Don%26#039;t worry. Your clothes and sheets are sticking to it and pulling bits of the scab off. You will want to wear loose clothing, keep using the A%26amp;D ointment for another day, then switch to lotion.

Don%26#039;t go out in the sun. Follow your aftercare instructions. Wash it gently with Dial soap. Don%26#039;t scrub it, don%26#039;t scratch when it itches and don%26#039;t pick at it. Use lotion when it itches, that usually helps a little bit.
