I went to the beach yesterday, got really bad sunburn on my chest, stomach, arms, face, arms, and legs. I know that going in a cold shower of bath is good, but is it good to go in a pool if u put on like a ton of sunscreen and sit in the shade. Really, im wondering about the effect of the chlorine.

Will the Pool help with sunburn?
as long as you put on lots of suncream and keep re applying it, it wont do any harm :)
Reply:sure it will make the pain go away while your in the pool, but when you get out the sunburn is still there... be sure to use sunscreen too you don%26#039;t want to make the same mistake twice!
Reply:yeah it should be fine get make sure keep up with sunscreen
Reply:here are some of the things i%26#039;ve picked up over the years as adivce for sun burn that work!
get one of the spray bottles, you can get them at garden centres, or you may even have an empty one lying round the house. use it to spray a mixture of 2 or 3 cups of milk and 2 tablspoons of honey onto the sunburnt area.
alternatively, get some after-sun. this is really cooling and will feel good will helping your skin to shed the burnt skin and feel better. You also get the same results with fresh aloe vera gel, so you may want to invest in an aloe plant.
as for the pool, i%26#039;ve found that (without sunburn) i tan just as easily in the water as i do out of it. the damage of the sun is also much less. the chlorine should not be a problem.
good luck!
Reply:oh my god you must be one of those super neurotic people.
put some 30 block sunscreen on and go in the damn pool
