Stretch mark?
They never really go away, but can be very much improved.......start now working on exercises.
Stretch mark?
First of all, I can completely sympathise with you. I know you must be feeling self-concious about your %26quot;fat%26quot; legs, but you need to remember that you are only 12!

At this age, it is completely natural for you body to be going through a series of changes. Your weight (and moods!) will fluctuate due to the presence of something called hormones.

I am sure that if your legs are larger than the rest of your body, then as you grow up (and were only talking a few years), your legs will even up. As long as you eat healthily and do a decent amount of exercise everyday, then your body will standardise itself.

As for exerceise, the best way to fat-burn is by walking, biking and running.

Exercises such as sidesaddles are for building muscle, not burning fat and therefore they are not right for you!

But the best advice that I can give is to not be self-concious about your body.

At your age it is very important just to enjoy your childhood.

Hope I have helped :)
Reply:To be honest, you probably don%26#039;t have the chubby legs you think you do!

When i was your age i hated the way my legs look, but if you really wanna lose weight on just your legs then you need to simply do more running or biking.

Problem with exercising to lose weight (especially on the legs) is that you may lose the fat but there%26#039;s a big chance your new muscles could be bigger than your fatty bits ever were, they just won%26#039;t wobble :)

Hope this helps

Reply:Whenever you hit this age, different parts of your body grow at different times, but if your legs are really stressing you out, there are some exercises you can do to try and tone them and bring out a msucle, though this may not make them appear skinnier:

Stand with your toes on a step with your heels hanging over edge, keep your arms and feet parallel to the floor, bend your knees slightly and tighten the muscles around your abdomen, lift your heels as high as you can, then lower heels until feet become parallel to the floor.

The stretch marks don%26#039;t really go away, the furthest they get to going away is turning into white lines, but if they get really bad and unbearable you could use Bio-Oil, which is designed for scars and stretch marks.

Reply:You generally can%26#039;t eliminate fat from a specific part of your body through specific exercises, exercising generally, especially aerobic exercise combined with a diet low in fat may result in your body %26quot;burning%26quot; stored fat and it may or may not take it primarily from your fat stores on your legs. Exercise that focuses on your legs will most likely cause them to actually get bigger rather than smaller as fat may (or may not) be taken from all over your body but your leg muscles will grow.

You should talk to your doctor before beginning an exercise program as well as before radically changing your diet. Reducing your fat intake may be one way to begin reducing the size of your fat stores but women need a certain amount of fat stores and fat intake to be healthy (substantially more than men), so again consult with your doctor. Since a deficiency in some nutrients could cause your body to store more fat (by making it think it%26#039;s going into winter for example), it could simply be a matter of getting a more balanced diet.
